Lightspeeders

We are Lightspeeders – a dedicated team of students participating in the STEM Racing Germany competition. Our vision is to participate in an international event in the future by developing, building and improving our own miniature Formula 1 car. We combine technology, creativity, and teamwork: from construction and manufacturing to design and the professional presentation of our project.

The 2025 - 2026 Season

In 2025 - 2026 we are participating as a Junior Team. Our goal in our first season is to have a successful first run in the Regional Championship and simultaneously establish a strong foundation for future seasons.

The Team

We are a team of six students who love learning, technology, and F1 racing. By combining our different skills, we design and engineer our car on the computer, 3D-print it, and build a unique brand to help us win. Our values are teamwork, respect, creativity, and learning.

The car was designed and built by our team according to the exact especifications of the STEM Racing program. We have run several successful trials in the previous weeks which make us excited for the future!

Support STEM Education

In addition to the vehicle, we are creating a comprehensive portfolio, designing a trade fair booth for the competition day, and team uniforms. All of this requires not only a great deal of effort but also considerable financial resources.
